The Heyuan Project in Yangzhou: Unveiling the Splendor of the Premier Garden of the Late Qing Dynasty
As soon as Yangzhou’s Heyuan Night Tour was launched, it quickly became a must-visit hotspot, eagerly snapped up by tourists. Stepping into the garden feels like traveling back to the bustling late Qing era, where every play of light and shadow whispers tales of history. Zhongqi Optoelectronics’ cultural and tourism special-effects lighting is seamlessly integrated with the garden’s architecture: water-pattern projection lights cast shimmering ripples across the pond, as if drawing visitors into a living ink-wash painting; pattern-projecting lights illuminate the antique walls with exquisite traditional motifs, allowing guests to savor the beauty while immersing themselves in the garden’s profound cultural heritage. Meanwhile, dreamlike floating-shadow lamps and twinkling firefly lights add an air of mystery and romance to the entire grounds. As visitors stroll along paths bathed in shifting light and shadow—pausing to admire or snapping photos—they are utterly captivated by this one-of-a-kind nocturnal garden experience. The Heyuan Night Tour not only showcases the extraordinary elegance of what was once hailed as the “No. 1 Garden of the Late Qing,” but also, through its unique creativity and meticulous design, delivers an unforgettable visual feast, firmly establishing Heyuan as a new hallmark of Yangzhou tourism.
The project has selected Zhongqi Optoelectronics’ cultural and tourism special-effects lighting, including 320W and 150W water-pattern projection lights, 650W and 350W pattern projection lights, 350W floating-shadow lights, and 20W firefly lights, to create a unique light-and-color culture specific to the park. The color palette was carefully chosen to harmonize with both the interplay of light and shadow and the site’s rich historical and cultural heritage. We would like to express our sincere gratitude to Teacher Qian for his leadership and to all on-site colleagues for their hard work.
